MSEG Global Configuration Mode Commands
 
 
The MSEG Global Configuration Mode is used to configure global MSEG parameters.
 
 
apn-profile
This command enables creating/configuring/deleting MSEG APN profiles.

Syntax
apn-profile apn_profile_name [ -noconfirm ]
no apn-profile apn_profile_name

Deletes the specified APN profile.
apn_profile_name
Specifies name of the APN profile.
apn_profile_name must be an alpha and/or numeric string of 1 through 63 characters in length.
If the named APN profile does not exist, it is created, and the CLI mode changes to the MSEG APN Profile Configuration Mode wherein the APN profile can be configured.
If the named APN profile already exists, the CLI mode changes to the MSEG APN Profile Configuration Mode for that APN profile.
-noconfirm
Specifies that the command must execute without prompting for confirmation.
Usage
Use this command to create/configure/delete MSEG APN profiles.
Entering this command results in the following prompt:
[context_name]hostname(config-mseg-apn-profile)#

Example
The following command creates an APN profile named test, and changes to the MSEG APN Profile Configuration Mode:

This command enables creating/configuring/deleting MSEG associated-services profiles.

Deletes the specified associated-services profile.
profile_name
Specifies name of the associated-services profile.
profile_name must be an alpha and/or numeric string of 1 through 63 characters in length.
If the named associated-services profile does not exist, it is created, and the CLI mode changes to the MSEG Associated Services Profile Configuration Mode wherein the profile can be configured.
If the named associated-services profile already exists, the CLI mode changes to the MSEG Associated Services Profile Configuration Mode for that profile.

Specifies that the command must execute without prompting for confirmation.
Usage
Use this command to create/configure/delete MSEG associated-services profiles.
Entering this command results in the following prompt:
[context_name]hostname(config-mseg-as-profile)#
MSEG associated-services profile configuration commands are described in the MSEG Associated Services Profile Configuration Mode Commands chapter. This mode contains configurations for all the associated services such as NAT, accounting context, destination context, and so on, from other parts of the system, that are to be applied to an offloaded session once it is set up.
Example
The following command creates an associated-services profile named test, and changes to the MSEG Associated Services Profile Configuration Mode:
associated-services-profile test

Usage
Use this command to create/configure/delete an MSEG criteria — a set of filters that are applied by an MSEG service. There can be multiple MSEG criteria configured though only one can be associated with an MSEG service at any given time.

Use this command to create/configure/delete MSEG rulesets — filter combinations to be applied while evaluating whether a session should be offloaded or not.

Use this command to create/configure/delete MSEG peer profiles. Configuration of all non-local MSEG instances in the network. Multiple MSEG peer profiles can be configured.
